Ottolenghi Sticky Date & Tamarind Sauce

This is HP sauce, Ottolenghi style: sweet, tangy and piquant. Great on a bacon sandwich, for adding depth to stews, or as a base for a salad dressing. Dates bring the sweetness, tamarind adds the tang.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 4 weeks.

Ingredients: 

Tamarind Extract, Date Juice Concentrate, Olive Oil, Ginger Purée, Sugar, Soy Sauce (Water, Soya Beans, Wheat, Salt, Alcohol (Ethanol)), Water, Sugar, Salt), Garlic Purée, Cornflour, Red Chilli, Sea Salt, Ground Ginger, Chilli Powder.
