Otto King Fish. Otto Queen Fish. This is one of four vases in the Sicily collection. The creative collaboration between celebrated chef Yotam Ottolenghi and his good friend, artist Ivo Bisignano, led this time to four exuberant hand-painted ceramic vases. With the Sicily vase collection, they journey from the table to the outside.
The collection is based on the Testa di Moro – Sicilian hand painted ceramic pots in the shape of crowned heads that adorn Italian balconies. Combined with the Ottolenghi exuberance and decorated with colourful spots and brush strokes in an eclectic palette of primary and secondary colours, the vases are a cheerful ode to a distinctly Sicilian aesthetic.
